We’re always keen to welcome new members, of any age or experience. You don’t need to live in Houghton or Wyton. Many of our members travel from nearby towns and villages, drawn by the friendly atmosphere. Coaching and equipment are available, so it’s easy to give bowls a try. Just bring flat-soled shoes. If you're after a new hobby with a strong social side, you’ve found it. Click Join Us for more details.
We offer friendly games every Tuesday morning and Friday evening. Members can play for one of our seven teams or enter club competitions. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, bowls is a great way to stay active, meet people, and enjoy the summer sunshine. With matches against local villages and leagues throughout the season, there's something for everyone, both social or competitive. During the off-season, we host regular social events. Founded in 1964, the club leases the ground from the Parish Council and shares the sports pavilion with other local teams. Our green and facilities are maintained by volunteers and funded through memberships and events. We're affiliated with all relevant county and national bodies.
